Bart Brady and his wife, Donna, came to FranCoach looking for an opportunity in the recession-resistant home services industry. But the couple was not going into business alone – instead, they joined forces with their longtime friends, Charles and Aida. The two couples are both residents of Texas, where Charles and Bart will be spearheading the new franchise operations. Donna and Aida will keep their existing jobs but will be integral parts of helping with the business behind the scenes.
Why Did Bart Make a Career Change?
Bart, who is semi-retired, had always wanted to work for himself. He discovered the Franchising 101 Podcast, which helped him learn more about the possibilities of franchise ownership. Through the podcast, Bart began working with Tim Parmeter of FranCoach, who helped guide him through the Discovery Process and learn more about various franchise brands.
In this chapter of his life, Bart is excited about entrepreneurship without the risk of starting a business from scratch.
