Hard-Working Mom of Two Leaves a Successful Real Estate Career to Help Seniors
onWe are excited to announce the newest owner of Senior Helpers: Danielle Champeau. A hard-worker with fantastic people skills, Danielle is sure to thrive in this new role, and we cannot wait to see all the fantastic things she will accomplish.
Who Is Danielle Champeau?
Despite having earned both a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice (with a psychology minor) and a certification in Ayurvedic studies, Danielle ended up working in the real estate world for more than a decade.
A proud mom of two children, ages 7 and 10, Danielle currently lives in Grass Valley, California.
Why Did Danielle Champeau Make a Career Change?
Even though Danielle enjoyed quite a bit of success while working as a house flipper, she wanted to start exploring other opportunities. During the process of figuring out her next big career move, she considered going into healthcare and enrolled in nursing school.
However, given the time constraints that this kind of work entails, Danielle worried that she wouldn’t be able to spend as much time with her children as she’d like. She also had a lingering desire to own her own business and enjoy all of the freedom, flexibility, and control that it provides.
So, after speaking with a friend who’d previously worked with the FranCoach team, Danielle gave our team a call.

Why Will Danielle Champeau Make a Great Franchise Owner?
Smart, hard-working, and dedicated to success, Danielle has all of the traits that make for an exceptional franchise owner. However, it was her perseverance throughout the process that FranCoach CEO Tim Parmeter found most striking.
“Danielle is not only a single mom, but she was also finishing up a semester of nursing school and dealing with a few life-altering experiences during the process. But she never waivered.”
And that kind of stick-to-itiveness is crucial for any franchise owner’s success, as problems will inevitably arise, and you’ll have to figure out whether you can stick to the plan. That clearly wasn’t a problem for Danielle, as Tim explains:
“She just kept moving forward with this process, and nothing deterred her. That perseverance and ability to figure things out will translate really well for her as a franchise owner.”
Why Did Danielle Champeau Choose Senior Helpers?
The nation’s premier provider of in-home senior care, Senior Helpers provides a range of services to help the clients its caretakers serve. From providing companion services and assistance with daily tasks to the specialized care those with chronic illnesses require, Senior Helpers strives to help senior citizens age successfully and safely in their own homes.
Given the fact that she had already considered a care-taking career path, Senior Helpers seemed like the ideal fit for Danielle.
Tim certainly thinks it is a great fit, explaining that “Her heart is going to be a huge asset as an owner of Senior Helpers and in this industry in general. She’s just a genuinely good human being, who cares about others and wants to make a difference.”
Senior Helpers certainly agrees with Tim’s assessment, according to Director of Franchise Development, Annie Long. “We are excited to welcome Danielle to Senior Helpers. With her passion and drive we know that she will do well!”
Please join our team at FranCoach in congratulating Danielle Champeau and wishing her luck as a new owner of Senior Helpers.
