We are excited to announce the newest owner of Assisting Hands Home Care: Maryam Ahmadi. Having already achieved considerable personal and professional success, Maryam decided that she was ready to transition from a supporting position to a leadership role. We’re certainly excited for her and confident she has all of the skills, vision, and determination necessary to succeed in her new role. 

Who Is Maryam Ahmadi?

After obtaining a Bachelors in Business Administration from California State University, Maryam began working for a few different organizations in the alternative energy and education space. But she soon shifted her focus and began working for a few big names in that technology industry, including Intel Corporation, where she served as a senior administrative partner for eight years, and Meta where she served as an executive assistant for another eight years. 

Maryam currently lives in the San Francisco Bay area with her spouse.

Why Did Maryam Ahmadi Make a Career Change?

Maryam excelled in her role as an executive assistant and enjoyed several parts of it. She liked being a go-to person, who could solve the problems her teammates were facing, as well as the way her daily tasks and challenges differed from one day to the next. She also enjoyed playing a crucial behind-the-scenes role that helped achieve the organization’s overall goals. 

But eventually, Maryam wanted to start setting the course herself and pursuing opportunities she found exciting. Most of all, like most other new franchisees seeking greater freedom, flexibility, and control, she wanted more autonomy and the chance to own something herself.
