From Wells Fargo to Waterloo Turf: FranCoach found an opportunity for this client to Build a Business Around His Family
on
After more than 25 years in banking and compliance with Wells Fargo — most recently as a Lead Compliance Officer supporting Home Lending, Consumer Banking, and Merchant Services — this client was recently displaced from the company. Rather than returning to the corporate track, he saw an opportunity to take control of his future.
This client and his family came to FranCoach and coach Matt Woodcock looking for control and freedom for his family, with the flexibility to stay active coaching his daughter’s softball team. He was open-minded in his search, exploring building and construction, real estate-related, and service-based opportunities before finding a brand that brought the whole package to the table: Waterloo Turf. The team even arranged a special one-on-one Meet the Team Day for Tim and his wife — a gesture that sealed the deal. They are opening two territories in Des Moines, IA. And a fun fact here, using the ROBS program for financing – reach out to us to learn more about this unique way of starting a franchise business.
“This family are going to take the proven Waterloo Turf business and do amazing things in Des Moines, IA,” said Matt Woodcock, Tim’s FranCoach coach. “I know that with their focus, determination, and the incredible tools Waterloo Turf brings to the table, success is truly at their doorstep. I’m excited to watch them take this business to the next level!”
This journey shows what’s possible when decades of discipline and leadership meet a franchise willing to go the extra mile for the right partner. If you’re facing a career transition and looking for a business that puts your family first, FranCoach can help you find it.
