The Designery Gains New Franchise Owner in Tennessee

We are excited to announce the newest owner of The Designery: Rob Byabato. A resident of Tennessee, Rob is ready to make an investment in his future and support his community.  

Who Is Rob Byabato?

Rob and his wife, Delilah, live in Tennesse with their four children. Both of the Byabatos bring a wealth of experience to the table that is sure to help them succeed as franchise owners. Delilah works as a therapist while Rob has enjoyed a career as an engineer in the automation and robotics department of a popular shoe and athletic wear brand. Rob holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering and enjoys both the analytical and people-forward aspects of his career. 

Why Did Rob Make a Career Change?

While Rob enjoyed many aspects of his engineering position, he was growing frustrated with the cap on growing his personal wealth that so many people in the corporate world have experienced. He saw franchise ownership as the perfect opportunity to go into business for himself but not by himself – he is excited to take advantage of the robust franchisee support and pre-created structures that franchisors provide. 

As Rob began looking into franchise ownership, he discovered FranCoach and decided to embrace the opportunity to get support in finding his ideal franchise brand. During that process, he enjoyed listening to the Franchising 101 Podcast, where he learned about different brands that host Tim Parmeter spotlighted on the show. Rob explored a few different industries, but ultimately, the home services space resonated with him as a way to get involved in his community and build relationships as part of his business.
