From Technology to Coat Trimming: Patricia Ryan Enters the World of Mobile Pet Grooming
onWe are excited to announce the newest owner of Zoomin Groomin: Patricia Ryan. An IT expert who recently decided to explore other career opportunities, Patricia is looking forward to running her own business and enjoying all of the benefits franchise ownership provides.
Who Is Patricia Ryan?
After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (BSBA) from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Patricia began her career as an IT business consultant.
She worked with a variety of clients in the healthcare space during this time, including UnitedHealth Group and Magellan Health, before eventually landing the role of Vice President of IT and BI for Parkland Community Health Plan.
Patricia lives in Allen, Texas, and is the proud mom of two sons, ages 28 and 31.
Why Did Patricia Ryan Make a Career Change?
While Patricia enjoyed working in the IT and BI sectors, and she genuinely likes the coaching and managerial aspects of the work, there are things about it she did not particularly love.
For one, she did not care for office politics. She was also concerned that she was not in control of her destiny.
Like many others who begin exploring franchise ownership opportunities, she really just wanted more freedom, flexibility, and control. This led her to reach out to the FranCoach team and start exploring the options available to her.

Why Will Patricia Ryan Make a Great Franchise Owner?
Past accomplishments are often a great barometer for future success as a franchise owner, and Patricia’s list of personal and professional achievements are certainly impressive. Most notably, she not only raised two wonderful children, but she also built the entire IT infrastructure for Parkland Community Health Plan from scratch.
When combined with her natural tendency to solve problems and help others, these accomplishments suggest that Patricia’s future as a Zoomin Groomin owner is bright.
Why Did Patricia Ryan Choose Zoomin Groomin?
Patricia certainly loves the cute-and-cuddly factor of a mobile grooming business, but there was another key reason she was drawn to Zoomin Groomin. As FranCoach team member Lisa Rios explains, “Patti is not only an animal lover, but she understands the booming need for the service.”
And mobile pet care definitely is a rapidly growing industry. According to Precedence Research, the market is expected to grow from its current size of around 750 million dollars per year to more than 1.6 billion dollars annually within 10 years.
Zoomin Groomin is a mobile pet spa that provides on-demand bathing and grooming services for dogs and cats. This business model is not only convenient for owners, but it is also much easier on many four-footers, who may become stressed by trips to the groomers. With more than 120 locations across the country, Zoomin Groomin is changing the way owners get their pets bathed, brushed, and trimmed.
Please join our team at FranCoach in congratulating Patricia Ryan and wishing her luck as a new owner of Zoomin Groomin.
