An Ambitious Entrepreneur Adds the First Franchise to His Portfolio

We are excited to announce the newest owner of HouseDoctors: Omar Sanford. A natural-born problem solver, Omar is eager to have the chance to run his own business and reap all of the rewards franchise ownership provides. We think he selected the ideal brand for his situation and expect that this is only the first step he’ll take in creating a franchise empire. 

Who Is Omar Sanford?

Omar is an accomplished IT professional, who has served in a number of roles over the course of his career. From site technician to help desk technical lead to service operator, he’s done it all. That said, he has primarily served in system engineer roles, as he does at his current job.  

But while Omar has primarily worked in tech-related positions, he is a really well-rounded individual. He not only served in the U.S. Army but also found himself tasked with training duties at various points in his career – something he thoroughly enjoyed.  

Omar currently lives in the Cincinnati, Ohio suburbs with his wife, Jessica, and their four children, ages 23, 12, 7, and 6.

Why Did Omar Sanford Make a Career Change?

Like so many others who’ve left the corporate world to run a franchise, Omar wanted more freedom, flexibility, and control in his life. He also wanted the chance to make the important decisions for his business. For better or worse, he wanted to be the one calling the shots.

But Omar was also interested in the highly lucrative future that franchise ownership often offers. This would allow him to start building a legacy he could leave to his children.

Why Will Omar Sanford Make a Great Franchise Owner?

Because he’s such a multi-talented individual who has incredible problem-solving skills, we think Omar is really well-positioned for success with his new franchise. But while his intelligence and creativity will certainly serve him well, he also has top-notch people skills – something many franchise owners find important.
