Who Are David and Caren Muir?
Originally from Jamaica, David and Caren Muir have fostered robust connections in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale communities. Caren has built a career working in higher education admissions, undertaking administrative duties like grant writing. David has worked in multiple industries and owned several businesses across the course of his career, including printing, DJ-ing, and photography.
With David’s history with printing and the prevalence of shipping services, the Muirs were interested in leveraging their industry knowledge to own a printing franchise. After conducting research with help from the team at FranCoach, they decided to invest in PostNet.
Why Did David and Caren Muir Make a Career Change?
Caren became interested in franchising after growing tired of working for others and not being her own boss. She was ready to leave her previous job, work for herself, and run a business with David. Caren will be the face of the business in their community, and she will work at their PostNet location in an owner-operator role.
With his previous experience in printing and impressive network, David will be working in and among the community to spread the word of their franchise, bring in customers, and promote their business. Since their PostNet location is only a mile away from their home, the Muirs are well-positioned to cover a good chunk of territory with their franchise.
