Dry Cleaning Franchise Owners Support Their Local Community
onWe are excited to announce the newest owners of Martinizing Cleaners: Eric and Kathy Rohrs. Residents of Ohio, Eric and Kathy are thrilled to build a business that will give back to their community.
Who Are Eric and Kathy Rohrs?
This husband-and-wife team made their home in Central Ohio, where they live with their three daughters in a rural area with many factories and plants. The couple is heavily involved in their church and in their community, and Eric has enjoyed a career working for a local company as a product manager. With their children now in school, Eric and Kathy decided to look into a new venture that would allow them to build a lasting legacy for their family.
Why Did the Rohrs Make a Career Change?
From the get-go, the Rohrs were interested in a laundry service or another franchise brand that could serve the needs of their community. They approached franchise ownership with big hearts – Eric and Kathy knew that they wanted to invest in a business that would allow them to not only provide an in-demand service but also create more jobs in their area.
With that in mind, they came to FranCoach seeking guidance to help them navigate the vast world of franchise ownership. Working closely with FranCoach’s Katie Lepper, the Rohrs were dedicated to thorough research throughout the Discovery Process. They were immediately impressed with the unique “hub and spoke” structure of Martinizing, and were drawn to the collaborative nature of the relationships between the brand’s owners.
Why Will the Rohrs Make a Great Franchise Owner?
As she guided the Rohrs through the franchise Discovery Process and Validation Calls, Katie built a strong relationship with the couple and cannot wait to see them succeed. Here’s what she has to say about why they will be incredible franchise owners:
“I was so impressed with the incredible amount of heart that Eric and Kathy brought to this process, and I truly enjoyed working with this couple. They were consistently focused on helping their community and building a business that was going to do good. I consider myself lucky to work with them, and I know that their passion and commitment is going to get them far.”
Why Did the Rohrs Choose Martinizing Cleaners?
Martinizing Cleaning is a dry cleaning franchise that offers on-premise cleaning and delivery as well as wash-and-fold services. The company’s hub-and-spoke model offers franchisees numerous different ways to get in on the $69 billion global dry cleaning industry. Owners in the same regions work together to manage plants, satellite locations, and delivery routes to provide comprehensive laundry services to their clients.
Eric and Kathy were attracted to the unique business model behind Martinizing. The brand’s VP of Franchise Development, Brent Greenwood, helped them learn more about the support they will receive, and the couple invested in a satellite location. The Rohrs are excited to work with another local owner to expand the franchise’s service base. With their new business, they are ready to dedicate their efforts to creating jobs in their community, mentoring employees, and building a strong financial future for their families.
Please join our team at FranCoach in congratulating Eric and Kathy Rohrs and wishing them luck as new owners of Martinizing Cleaners.
