From Downsizing to New Beginnings: Former Corporate Exec to Open Doors to New Money Pages Location

Mike Schultz spent nearly 20 years climbing the corporate ladder with one of the largest corporations in the world. Then, as happens far too often, there was an organizational downsizing and suddenly Mike found himself in the middle of a job search.
The thought of business ownership had been in the back of his mind and in fact, Mike had taken a brief look at some options a few years earlier. Now, it seemed like the time to do the search right. Mike ran across a FranCoach Franchisor Spotlight Webinar with funding partner Guidant Financial. After watching this, it became clear it was time to explore franchising as an option.
The FranCoach team took Mike through the process and ultimately connected him with four franchise options. Mike was really excited about three of the four. The fourth option seemingly had nothing in line with what he was looking for. Mike stayed true to the process however and had the first call with all four.
What happened from there is more common than people realize. The franchise that seemingly had nothing in common with what Mike wanted, quickly vaulted to the top. Mike progressed several steps with three of the four but ultimately he attended Discovery Day for the one that he almost didn’t talk to. Discovery Day sealed the deal for Mike and the franchisor and Mike and his wife Kelly now own the majority of the Cincinnati market for Money Pages.
