Darren Peterson had had enough of the corporate world and wanted his own business. After 20 years of highly successful management experience with several Fortune 500 companies, enough was enough. Like so many talented professionals in the corporate world, Darren was on his third transition in the last six years, all in spite of a great track record of success for his employers. Darren had always dreamt of having his own business, and he knew now was the time to make it happen. The challenge, of course, was finding the right opportunity.
Darren connected with FranCoach in the spring with an open mind to explore different franchise opportunities. He began vetting 3 franchise options but quickly zeroed in on one brand. After a thorough due diligence process that culminated in Darren and his wife Brenda attending a Discovery Day, it was clear that Executive Care was the best match for them.
Executive Care is an in-home senior care franchise that offers a full spectrum of care options for clients. The Executive Care mission is “to provide compassionate quality home care services to our clients so that they can remain safe and independent in the comfort of their own home.” This mission and vision resonated well with Darren, as it will give him a chance to truly make a difference in the community while growing a business.
Darren will open his northern Virginia office this Fall.
