Former VP and Army Vet Set to Open PuroClean in NC

Karlton Cole spent the past decade working long hours to grow to his career with some of the biggest home construction companies in the industry. All of that hard work helped him to become Vice President of Operations of Meritage Homes before he suddenly found himself in a career search looking for a new position.Like so many talented professionals in a transition, Karlton had always dreamt of owning his own business and felt this was the time to explore other possibilities. He had connected with FranCoach in late July, quickly moved through the assessment process, and began vetting franchises.
Karlton wanted a business that allowed him to use his construction background without being in the construction field. He wanted to build a skilled team, a business that could ramp-up quickly, and be as recession-proof as possible. For Karlton, this match was PuroClean.
PuroClean is a fire and water damage restoration company that also provides mold, mildew, and biohazard cleanup services. The company’s culture and support structure were important factors that aligned perfectly with Karlton’s background of 11 years of service in the Army.
